We are seeking a highly experienced CNC Programmer specializing in high-precision 5-axis milling and micro-grinding processes for the fabrication of complex optical surfaces. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Siemens NX CAD / CAM software, and be proficient in programming both 3-axis and 5-axis CNC operations. This role requires a strong understanding of on-machine probing and tool setting using Renishaw touch probes and Renishaw tool setters.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Develop and optimize CNC programs for 3-axis and 5-axis milling and grinding operations.
• Program tool paths for micro-machining of complex optical geometries using NX CAM.
• Design and validate fixturing and setups in NX CAD for precision machining.
• Implement and manage on-machine probing routines for part alignment and verification.
• Utilize Renishaw tool setters for accurate tool measurement and wear compensation.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure process reliability and repeatability.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and continuously improve cycle times and surface quality.
• Maintain documentation of programs, setups, and process parameters.
