About the Role!
The Director, Global Accounts Receivable is a key finance leader responsible for driving effective order-to-cash processes, partnering with global stakeholders to improve AR visibility, cash collection, and cash application. This role serves as the subject matter expert (SME) for AR reporting & analytics and the Company's AR securitization program with banking partners, while ensuring strong internal controls and compliance with US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley. The Director leads transformation initiatives including the continued evolution of global AR reporting & visibility, cash collection and past-due notice processes, and automated cash-application systems.
Key Accountabilities :
- Provide strategic and operational leadership to the Global AR team, developing talent and fostering a positive culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Oversee end-to-end AR processes including timely collections, unapplied cash resolution, bad-debt governance, and reporting & analysis.
- Lead the team that runs the Company's AR securitization program, from building and maintaining the reporting & analysis system, to delivering compliance results to Treasury and external banking partners.
- Establish and monitor AR KPIs and dashboarding (e.g. DSO, unapplied cash, AR aging) and deliver actionable insights to finance and business leaders.
- Partner closely with the business, FP&A, Controllership, and Treasury to improve cash-flow reporting and forecasting which drives working-capital optimization.
- Lead the successful deployment and adoption of AR automation initiatives, including standardizing global cash application and past-due notice generation.
- Ensure compliance with SOX and internal control requirements; oversee AR-related account reconciliations and variance analyses.
- Collaborate with Accenture and other service-delivery partners to optimize BPO performance and strengthen front-end invoicing and remit processes.
- Identify and champion opportunities for process simplification, standardization, and digital enablement across global AR operations.
- Maintain strong partnerships with external auditors, internal stakeholders, and business leaders to ensure transparency, accuracy, and responsiveness.
Basic Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.10+ years of progressive experience in accounting / finance with significant exposure to AR and order-to-cash processes.5+ years of leadership experience managing AR or OTC functions in a global, matrixed organization.Strong knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance requirements.Thorough knowledge of general ledger and accounting systems.Strong background in process improvement and workflow optimization.Proficiency in IT and finance systems supporting shared services.Preferred Qualifications :
Certified Public Accountant (CPA).Proficiency with Alteryx data-workflow tool, which is leveraged extensively within the Global AR Team.Experience with Workday Finance Module.Knowledge of the real estate industry and documentation.Targeted Competencies :

The compensation for the position is : $148,750.00 - $175,000.00.
