Mail And Logistics Support Specialist
The Mail and Logistics Support Specialist is responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of mail, campus mail, and packages across assigned Salt Lake Community College (SLCC) campuses. This role supports various operational functions, including package receiving, surplus item coordination, recycling, and fleet-related tasks. The position works closely with Central Receiving, Surplus, Recycling / Waste, and Fleet Management to ensure efficient completion of assigned work orders. - Receive, sort, and process incoming mail, packages, and internal campus mail. - Utilize package tracking software to log and monitor deliveries and pickups. - Enter daily work tasks into the facilities' Work Order Management system. - Act as the local surplus agent : pick up surplus items from departments and coordinate with the main warehouse for disposal or further instructions. - Collect campus lost and found items and deliver them to designated locations. - Assist with recycling duties, including emptying containers for paper, cardboard, plastic, glass, aluminum cans, and used toner cartridges. - Support fleet and facilities operations as needed, including completing assigned work orders. - Maintain a dependable and punctual work schedule, demonstrating professionalism and courtesy to coworkers, students, and staff. - Work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision. - Assist other College Facilities Teams as needed.
