Overview

Our client is a highly respected, growth-oriented Richmond based company seeking an experienced Project Manager who brings strong field understanding, proven project leadership, and excellent written communication skills. This is not an entry-level or foreman-to-PM transition role. We’re looking for a true PM professional who has successfully managed complex construction projects from planning through closeout.

What You’ll Do

• Manage all phases of projects to ensure schedules, budgets, safety, and quality standards are achieved.
• Review and track load tickets with exceptional attention to detail.
• Build and maintain accurate project schedules, effectively sequencing activities for efficiency.
• Coordinate seamlessly with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Prepare and review RFIs, change orders, subcontract agreements, daily reports, and closeout documentation.
• Lead project kickoff meetings, routine progress updates, and post-construction reviews.
• Oversee procurement and ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and supplies.
• Monitor field activities and proactively resolve conflicts, delays, and safety concerns.
• Maintain organized project records, track costs, and update forecasting tools.
• Identify ways to improve workflows and self-learn new systems, technologies, and processes as needed.
• Communicate clearly and professionally—strong writing skills are essential.
