Responsibilities
Revolution is now hiring a Production Material Handler for its Little Rock, AR location. This position offers growth opportunities in a stable and safe work environment.
Responsible for the coordinated movement of containers to and from locations within the plant and ensuring load / containers, etc.
are balanced and secured before moving.
- Scrap removal from machines.
- Pallet movement to and from machines.
- Movement of totes through decanting to and from work cells to support in-process inventory.
- Accurately completes all paperwork as required, including Pre-Shift Equipment Inspection forms.
- Support maintenance of inventory through identifying, verifying, labeling, and placing material.
- Pick, wrap and stage orders to be shipped.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing materials and products.
- Move materials to and from loading docks, delivery trucks, storage areas, and manufacturing areas.
- Identify and label materials, and record their locations in the warehouse / on the shelves to maintain inventory.
- Prepare finished products for shipment by identifying their location, then pulling, packing, and loading them.
- Operate trucks, forklifts, cranes, and other equipment to move freight.
- Perform and report cycle counts.
- Comply with all warehouse safety rules and guidelines
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent GED preferred.
- Background in manufacturing with experience in quality and safety initiatives.
- Must hold a valid counter-balance forklift certificate.
- 1-5 years of experience working in a warehouse setting or logistics; experience in operating material handling equipment preferred.
- Forklift experience required.
- Ability to work night shift on a 2 / 2 / 3 schedule.
- Ability to perform well in a customer-driven, safety-conscious organization.
- Ability to understand and work well with team members, both in operations & support teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to learn ERP systems and willingness to learn the computer side of the job.
- Ability to lift 25-30 pounds repetitively. Lifting may be required over 50 pounds with assistance.
- Exposure to heat and cold.
- Exposure to noise and machinery.
