Med / Surg RN Job Details – Bethlehem, PA

Location : Bethlehem, Pennsylvania (18015) – Lehigh Valley healthcare jobs

Setting : Medical-Surgical (Med / Surg) and Telemetry units

Shift : Night shifts, 6 : 45pm – 7 : 15am

Hours per Week : 36 hours (3 x 12-hour shifts)

Assignment Duration : 13-week nursing contract

Start Date : November 24, 2025

Schedule : Every other weekend and every other holiday required

Hourly Pay Rate : $80.91

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1950 - $2060

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania

At least 1 year of recent Med / Surg nursing experience

BLS certification from the American Heart Association

Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills

Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

Applicants requesting off all 3 major holidays will not be considered

Med / Surg RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to Med / Surg and Telemetry patients

Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment plans

Administer medications and perform prescribed treatments accurately

Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary healthcare teams, and families to achieve optimal patient outcomes

Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and discharge instructions

Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for patients and healthcare staff
