Job description

ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room Manager for a travel nursing job in Lawrence, Massachusetts.

Job Details :

  • Work 10-hour day shifts from 10 : 00 AM to 8 : 00 PM
  • CNOR certification required
  • Minimum 2 years of previous perioperative and surgical management experience required
  • Must have documented experience with management responsibilities
  • Work with Meditech EMR system
  • Must be competent for on-call duties covering all specialties
  • Ensure optimal efficiency in daily flow throughout surgical services
  • Evaluate and assess daily schedule and staffing plans, making adjustments to clinical assignments as necessary
  • Respond to real-time changes including add-on cases, late running cases, and resource allocation
  • Collaborate with anesthesia, surgeons, and department chiefs to maintain efficiency and safe patient care
  • Required competencies include : Orthopedic trauma, total joints (hip, knee, shoulder, reverse shoulders), vascular procedures, GYN procedures, general surgery, colorectal procedures, ENT, urology, spine procedures, and trauma cases
  • No cardiovascular or burn cases required
  • Facility is starting thoracic services but no on-call coverage required initially
