Job descriptionBachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a strong preference for technical disciplines. 8 years of experience in data-centric industries, with a focus on media, entertainment, or subscription services. Proficiency in SQL and experience with data technologies, database systems, and data warehousing. Strong communication skills to convey data issues and governance concepts effectively. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with a proactive approach to challenges. Familiarity with cloud technologies like AWS, GCP, or Azure. Experience with CI / CD technologies such as Git, Github Actions, or Jenkins. Knowledge of programming languages like Typescript, Python, Scala, or Java. Experience with streaming technologies such as Kafka or Spark. Familiarity with Databricks, Tableau, and Salesforce products.

Responsibilities
- Implement and enforce data governance and audit processes to uphold data standards and privacy policies.
- Develop and maintain metadata management and data catalog systems for a unified source of truth.
- Collaborate on monitoring tools to evaluate the effectiveness of data governance programs and compliance.
- Support and educate stakeholders on data literacy and governance tools.
- Work closely with Data Quality and Platform teams to ensure data reliability and compliance.
