Nephrology Physician

Hello! Maxim Healthcare is assisting an esteemed facility in Alameda, CA with a Nephrologist need. Position Highlights : Pending start of 3 / 4 / 24 Contract length 26wks w / options for ext. Inpatient need is M-F, 8a-5p day shifts in-house night call and weekends. Will also usually do 1-2 outpatient clinics per week. Looking for 15 inpatient shifts / month to be covered by locums. Night call and weekend call required. Call is taken remotely from home. Outpatient need is 4-6 clinic half-days per week, 4 hours in the morning or 4 hours in the afternoon. Work Details : Support staff : There s an NP who helps 3-4 days / week residents who rotate. Patients per day : census is generally around 12, but can get up to 22 (on a very busy day) Patient population / age : all ages EMR : Epic Special procedures : consults only, no procedures required Requirements : Board Certification : must be board certified / board eligible in nephrology Active CA license DEA CSR Minimum experience required : new grads accepted, but must have recent and relevant nephrology experience We provide : 1099 contract Generous compen$ation!
