Wedding Venue Facility Maintenance

Join Wedgewood Weddings and become a vital part of our team as we expand our family of skilled Maintenance Technicians. In this role, you'll play a crucial role in preserving the excellent condition and functionality of our event venues, buildings, and surrounding areas.

Your responsibilities will include a diverse range of tasks such as performing repairs, event set-up, landscaping, and general maintenance duties to ensure our venues are always in top-notch condition.

By following safety protocols and productive maintenance systems, you'll contribute to the smooth operation of our facilities.

Typical shifts : Friday -Monday / Tuesday 9am-2pm

Responsibilities :

• Perform repairs and maintenance tasks as needed, including painting, event set-up, equipment repairs and landscaping.
• Keep the facility and grounds clean by promptly removing trash and debris.
• Demonstrate basic construction knowledge and hands-on experience in painting, landscaping and general equipment repair.
• Ensure the safety of both guests and employees.
• Fulfill any additional duties assigned by the General Manager, Regional Manager, or Director of Facilities.
• Adhere to environmental standards.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

• Preferably, possess a minimum of 1 year of experience in painting and / or landscaping.
• Exhibit attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Demonstrate efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness in task completion.
• Skilled in prioritizing tasks based on urgency.
• Comfortable working in varying temperatures, both high and low.
• Able to regularly lift objects weighing up to 75 lbs.
• Capable of standing for extended periods.

Qualifications :

• Available to respond to occasional weekend emergencies.
• Proficient in multitasking.

The important extras :

• As is typical in the hospitality industry, this position requires regular availability to work evening, weekend, and holiday shifts, as well as shifts of more than 8 hours and workweeks of more than 40 hours.
