Unit : 5W Medicine (36-bed telemetry unit)

Employment Type : Travel Nursing

Shift : 12 Hour Days (7 : 00am – 7 : 00pm)

Hours per Week : 36

Contract Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 16 / 2025 – End : 2 / 15 / 2026)

Openings : 5 Tele RN positions

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1880-$2020

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or compact state

BLS certification (required)

Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Telemetry or Medical-Surgical nursing

Strong teamwork and communication skills

Ability to excel in a fast-paced, compassionate, and collaborative healthcare environment

CMSRN certification encouraged

Leadership or Charge Nurse experience preferred

Tele RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality patient care on a 36-bed telemetry unit

Monitor and assess patients using remote telemetry equipment

Prepare patients for procedures including Endoscopy, IR, and OR

Document patient care in Cerner EMR using work station on wheels

Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams : RNs, CNAs, HUCs, and sitters

Float to sister Med-Surg units (3W, 5W, K8) as needed

Uphold hospital policies and a commitment to exceptional patient care

Participate in scheduled weekend shifts (6 per 6-week schedule)
