I’m working on a role for a Print Quality Coordinator — it’s a technical position focused on ensuring printed materials and artwork come out with the highest possible quality. You’d be the go-to expert for anything related to commercial printing and packaging artwork.
The job involves partnering with internal teams and external suppliers to make sure artwork files, inks, coatings, and dielines are all correct and meet print performance standards. Essentially, you’d help make sure everything that goes to print looks right, functions correctly, and meets quality requirements.
What You’d Be Doing :
- Reviewing and approving artwork to make sure it meets print and quality standards.
- Providing technical guidance to teams and suppliers on how to achieve the best print results.
- Troubleshooting print issues related to artwork or production and helping resolve them quickly.
- Collaborating with multiple business units and suppliers to keep print quality consistent across projects.
- Supporting operations or other print-related tasks as needed.
What They’re Looking For :
Someone with 5+ years of experience in a print or graphic production environment.Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite — especially Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat.A solid understanding of print processes and technologies — such as digital, flexographic, offset, and screen printing.Someone who’s detail-oriented , quality-focused, and able to follow established procedures.Strong communication skills — you’ll be working with both internal teams and outside suppliers.Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools (Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).Nice to Have :
A Bachelor’s degree in a print-related field (or equivalent experience).Familiarity with new and emerging printing technologies like 3D or digital print innovations.Other Details :
