Job descriptionDesign and implement solutions for new features integrating with media services and back-end systems Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and design APIs across back-end and front-end platforms Conduct research and development to enhance media playback experiences Participate in estimation, planning, and delivery of features Troubleshoot and resolve issues across multiple Apple platforms Work effectively both independently and as part of a small, collaborative team Provide technical guidance and oversight to other engineers when required BS / MS in Computer Science or related field Experience with the full lifecycle of software development (early stage, maintenance, end-of-life) Strong coding skills with an emphasis on efficient, reliable, and maintainable solutions Experience with AVKit and its ecosystem Experience with streaming technologies (HLS, MPEG-DASH, Transport Stream, CMAF) Hands-on development for Apple platforms (iPhone, iPad, tvOS)
Job Description
City : Glendale, CA Onsite / Hybrid / Remote : Remote (Local to Glendale)
Duration : 2 months, potential for long term
Rate Range : Up to$100 / hr on W2 depending on experience (no C2C or 1099 or sub-contract)
Work Authorization : GC, USC, All valid EADs except OPT, CPT, H1B
Must Have :
- 4+ years of software engineering experience
- Strong experience with Swift or SwiftUI; past experience in Objective-C
- Solid understanding of iOS / tvOS app development lifecycle
- Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming and Design Patterns
- Experience with Reactive programming paradigms
- Familiarity with unit test frameworks and CI / CD systems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
