Job description

Product Manager, Store Design & Implementation

At RADAR, we're transforming the way the world thinks about physical retail. RADAR has raised over $104M from top investors, retailers, and strategics and works with some of the world's retail brands including American Eagle and Gap. We're building the future of in-store experience where every product and every person can be precisely located in real time.

Our platform combines RFID and AI to unlock hyper-accurate product visibility and automation at scale. From real-time inventory tracking to seamless checkout experiences, our technology empowers some of the world's largest retailers to streamline operations, reduce loss, and elevate both employee and customer experiences.

We're a fast-growing, mission-driven startup where bold ideas, collaboration, and impact are at the core of everything we do. Join us as we reshape the physical world with digital precision, starting with retail and expanding far beyond!

About The Job

You'll own the product suite that makes RADAR deployments fast, accurate, and scalable. By evolving tools for store planning, sensor placement, and deployment execution, you'll transform field operations from an art into a sciencedirectly improving cost, quality, and our ability to scale from dozens to hundreds of stores.

Your focus will include optimizing store planning and sensor placement, automating deployment workflows, and enhancing field technician capabilities. You'll integrate LiDAR scans, 3D store maps, and spatial data into the core platform to enable precise fixture mapping and planogram alignment, reducing deployment costs and eliminating unnecessary revisits.

Deployment efficiency is critical to our growth. By unifying previously siloed tools into a single, accessible platform, you'll unlock profitable scale and open new opportunities for monetization, including 3D assets, fixture catalogs, and spatial analytics.

About You

You thrive in environments where you can solve operational bottlenecks that drive growth, engage directly with users to understand real-world workflows, and build scalable systems that integrate hardware, software, and operations. You take pride in craftsmanship, even when developing internal tools, and excel at working in the complex spaces that connect teams and systems.

If you're passionate about operational excellence and want to build the infrastructure that powers next?gen retail, we'd love to talk.

Required :

  • You have 6+ years in product management; 2+ years owning B2B or operational tooling.
  • You have operational mindset with a track record of improving workflows / cost / quality.
  • You have experience with field operations, implementation teams, or professional services.
  • You have the ability to balance internal stakeholder needs with long?term strategy.
  • You are comfortable with spatial concepts (maps, 3D modeling, sensor placement).

Preferred :

  • You have retail store planning / merchandising / visual display / fixture management experience.
  • You have a hardware deployment background (IoT sensors, networking, POS, in?store tech).
  • You have spatial computing / 3D mapping tools (LiDAR, point clouds, CAD, BIM).
  • You have planogram / space planning tools (Blue Yonder / JDA, OneSpace, IWD).
  • You have professional services or implementation consulting in retail tech.
  • At RADAR, your pay is one part of your total compensation package. This role is an exempt position with a salary range of $100,000 - $200,000. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience and relevant education or training. You will also be eligible to receive other benefits including : equity, comprehensive medical and dental coverage, life and disability benefits, 401k plan, flexible time off, and paid parental leave. The pay range listed for this position is a good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible base compensation at the time of posting.

Research has shown that women & underrepresented minorities are more likely to read lists of requirements and consider themselves unqualified if they don't meet every single one. This list represents what we're ideally looking for, but everyone has unique strengths & weaknesses, and we hire for strength & potential, not lack of weakness.

Use of artificial intelligence or a LLM such as ChatGPT during the interview process will be grounds for rejection of your application process.

In your first 30 days, you will :

  • Shadow deployment teams to understand planning and installation workflows.
  • Audit the tooling landscape to identify gaps and wins
  • Map dependencies across deployment ops, hardware, and platform teams.
  • Review LiDAR / 3D assets to understand integration opportunities.
  • In your first 60 days, you will :

  • Define a unified roadmap integrating planning, deployment, and operational tools.
  • Establish KPIs : cost / store, install time, revisit rate, sensor accuracy.
  • Prioritize quick wins that reduce manual work (e.g., automated QA checks).
  • Align API / data architecture with hardware and software engineering.
  • In your first 90 days, you will :

  • Ship a meaningful workflow improvement (tool consolidation, usability upgrade, automation).
  • Define the 2026 vision : fixture mapping, spatial analytics, 3D asset monetization.
  • Build a business case for investment in advanced spatial capabilities.
  • Establish strong product operations practices (backlog hygiene, cadence, comms).
  • Culture Snapshot

  • Mission-Driven : We're transforming retail with cutting-edge technology and building something that truly matters.
  • Collaborative Team : We thrive on curiosity, shared goals, and solving complex problems together.
  • High Impact : You'll make meaningful contributions from day one and help shape the future of our product and company.
  • Clear Communication : We value honesty, humility, and respectful dialogueeveryone's voice matters.
