The Director of Clinical Quality oversees a vital department responsible for :
Leading and directing a team of quality improvement professionals.
Developing and implementing comprehensive quality improvement programs to optimize patient care outcomes.
Monitoring and analyzing clinical data to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for innovation.
Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement evidence-based practices.
Facilitating root cause analysis of adverse events and implementing corrective action plans.
Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards such as The Joint Commission (TJC) and other accrediting bodies.
Staying current with healthcare quality trends and best practices.
Developing and delivering educational programs to promote quality awareness among staff.
Preparing and presenting quality improvement reports to hospital leadership.

Qualifications :
Education : Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Nursing or a related patient care field (Master's degree preferred).
Experience : Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance / Performance Improvement (QA / PI) within a healthcare setting.
Licensure / Certification : Must be currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice in your profession according to Arizona state regulations.
Certification : Certified in Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or eligible to take the exam within two years of employment (strongly preferred).
Skills : Strong leadership, communication, collaboration, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
Proficiency : Demonstrated proficiency in data analysis, quality improvement methodologies, and project management.
Passion : A genuine passion for quality improvement and a commitment to patient safety.
