Interim Director, Pediatric CVICU Needed in an Oklahoma Healthcare System
The Position
- The Interim Director of the Pediatric CVICU will oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of a department comprising 25 beds.
- Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, this leader will oversee a team of approximately 150 FTEs.
- They will assess and provide department-wide education to staff, fostering stability and serving as a prominent, knowledgeable figurehead.
- Preferred candidates will demonstrate exceptional clinical competency and exhibit nurturing mentorship qualities. Proficiency in clinical pediatric / cardiac ICU settings, along with experience in central ventricular support and transplantation, will be crucial.
- Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance.
Requirements
- BSN required; Master’s degree highly preferred.
- Active RN license required.
- Previous healthcare experience required.
