ICU Registered Nurse Job Details

Location : Trenton, NJ (serving RMC and Hopewell campuses; may float to MST as needed)

Employment Type : Local or Travel Nursing Contract

Duration : 8-week contract

Hours per Week : 36 hours

Shift : Every other weekend and every other holiday required

Start Date : December 2, 2025

Scrub Color : Navy Blue

EMR System : Cerner

Pay Rate : $83.70 / hr

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1880–$2020

ICU Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent ICU and Medical Surgical Telemetry (MST) nursing experience

Active New Jersey or Compact RN License (required at time of application)

BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required

Flu vaccination required (no declinations accepted)

At least 1 year of overall registered nurse experience required

Critical Care Nurse Responsibilities

Float between Critical Care Units at RMC and Hopewell campuses; may float to Medical Surgical Telemetry (MST) as needed

Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced ICU environment

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Accurately document patient care using Cerner EMR system

Comply with hospital policies, infection control, and safety protocols

Provide compassionate support to patients and families during critical care situations
