Lead Web (Web Receiving)
Following direction from the Supervisor, the Lead, Web (Web Receiving Bear) is responsible for maintaining all inventories in the Fulfillment Center and conducting cycle counts of on-hand inventory.
The ideal candidate can communicate professionally both internally and externally, works well independently and proactively keeps Supervisor informed of any receiving or inventory issues.
Responsibilities :
- Transport all Fulfillment Center inventory from Distribution Center via forklift equipment.
- Receive all Fulfillment Center orders on a weekly basis and transfer merchandise as needed.
- Create all new item locations for product in the Fulfillment Center Pick Aisle. Effectively plan when creating new locations, moving inventory and replenishing locations, keeping future needs in mind.
- Effectively prioritize workload, with little lead time, based on business needs.
- Keep inventory at an appropriate level in pick location through replenishment and put-away functions.
- Respond to and correct any inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Transport all Fulfillment Center mail to the distribution shipping area for shipment.
- Maintain accurate information in WMS system.
- Ability to organize, train and lead a small team during peak season and times of increased volume.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and take required actions to improve operations.
- Complete additional duties as assigned based on business needs.
Qualifications :
- A minimum of a High School Diploma or a GED Certificate; Associate degree preferred.
- 1-2 years prior distribution / fulfillment experience required; 2+ years prior distribution / warehouse or logistics preferred.
- Current forklift license or must obtain within one week of hire.
- Ability to stand / walk / sit / talk / hear for up to 8 hours or more per day. Ability to lift or move 50lbs frequently.
Ability to climb stairs several times per day, and the ability to use hands, fingers, reach with arms, stoop, kneed and bend.
Manual dexterity is required.
- Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled facility.
- Must be available to work occasional overtime throughout the week / weekend and holidays as needed.
- Professional internal and external communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office, WM systems preferred
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced distribution center environment
- Ability to use RF equipment and walkie-talkies
- Ability to adhere to all safety standards
- Flexible organized, self-motivated with the ability to complete time-bound tasks
