Position Overview
The Line Cook plays a vital role in ensuring that dishes are prepared to recipe standards, plated beautifully, and delivered quickly. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and specifications.
- Ensure food is cooked, seasoned, and plated to Courthouse standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout service.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist with prep work, stock rotation, and kitchen organization.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service.
- Support other kitchen duties as assigned by the Sous Chef or Head Chef.
Qualifications
Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred (but willing to train the right candidate).Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.Knowledge of basic cooking techniques, knife skills, and kitchen equipment.Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality.Reliable, punctual, and a team player.Food handler’s certification (or ability to obtain) within the first week.Perks & Benefits :
