Part Time Paralegal Studies Instructor

General Description

Day and / or evening position available on the WCJC Richmond Campus. Pay for this position is $2400.00 per 3 credit hour course per semester. This position will teach all assigned Paralegal Studies courses in a classroom environment. The overall responsibility of a faculty member is to provide the most effective instruction possible. The faculty member works to ensure that his / her instruction is meeting the educational needs of students.

Responsibilities

Provide effective instruction in Paralegal Studies courses and support student learning in a classroom environment.

Requirements

• Minimum of an associates degree in paralegal studies
• Three (3) years of related work experience as a paralegal or attorney
• If the person is an attorney, they must not have been disbarred and must hold a valid unencumbered license to practice law
• Ability to travel independently to and from worksites during day and evening hours
• Ability to communicate effectively in a teaching environment with both groups and individuals
• Criminal background check is required
