Palo Alto Networks has built a world-class product management organization and continues to look for top-notch talent to tackle challenging security problems. As a Senior Product Manager for Zero Trust Identity, you will play a crucial role in managing how we identify, authenticate, authorize, and secure users across the Strata and Cortex Portfolio (NGFW, SWFW, Prisma Access, Prisma Access Browser, SD-WAN, Panorama, Strata Cloud Manager). This role will enable our customers to secure our products across the cloud, data centers, service providers, enterprises, and more, as we continue to innovate with new security features, including Cloud Identity Engine, Advanced Security services, Gen AI , and much more.

This is a high-visibility position that will drive the business of our core Strata Network Security Platform and enable the success of the company's platformization strategy.

Your Impact

Manage key features across our identity security product, which includes experience with :

• Palo Alto Networks Cloud Identity Engine and User-ID, identifying a user on a network
• Authorization : Management of users, groups, devices, and attributes across on-premise and cloud directories
• Authentication : NTLM, RADIUS, Kerberos, LDAP auth, SAML, OIDC, FIDO2, Passkeys
• Identity security : user-based risk modeling with security Risk and posture management across Identity providers, endpoints, and SaaS applications
• Secrets vault, Just-in-time access, Zero Trust, Non-human Identities, and continuous authorization

Qualifications

Your Experience

Manage key features across our identity security product, which includes experience with :

Palo Alto Networks Cloud Identity Engine and User-ID, identifying a user on a network

Authorization : Management of users, groups, devices, and attributes across on-premise and cloud directories

Authentication : NTLM, RADIUS, Kerberos, LDAP auth, SAML, OIDC, FIDO2, Passkeys

Identity security : user-based risk modeling with security Risk and posture management across Identity providers, endpoints, and SaaS applications

Secrets vault, Just-in-time access, Zero Trust, Non-human Identities, and continuous authorization

As a Product manager, you must have expertise in designing and deploying IAMs across the following deployment architectures :

Cloud Service Providers

Private and public cloud data centers

service provider data center,

Large enterprise networks

Financial networks

High-performance computing (HPC)

The Zero Trust Identity team at Palo Alto Networks is at the forefront of securing user identity across a diverse and dynamic ecosystem of products, including NGFW, Prisma Access, SD-WAN, and more. This high-impact team works across cloud, data center, and enterprise environments to deliver cutting-edge identity security features such as user-based risk modeling, continuous authorization, and advanced authentication protocols. Collaborating closely with engineering, customer success, and go-to-market teams, the group drives strategic innovation through features like the Cloud Identity Engine and Just-in-Time access. With deep expertise in IAM standards and technologies, the team plays a vital role in shaping the company’s platformization strategy and ensuring customer success at scale.

Compensation Disclosure

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales / commissioned roles) is expected to be between $144000 / YR - $215000 / YR. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found  here .
