Summary
Are you a natural leader with a passion for recovery? Join our team as the Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) Lead for the 3rd Shift (11pm-7 : 30am) in our Sober Living environment. You will be essential in maintaining a safe, structured, and therapeutic home for individuals in early recovery. This role requires supervisory experience and the ability to drive clients to appointments.
What You'll Do : The Core Job
- Lead the Shift : Serve as the on-site supervisor for all 2nd Shift BHT staff, coordinating duties, providing guidance, and ensuring smooth operations.
- Maintain Safety & Structure : Conduct regular facility checks and client rounds to ensure a safe, secure, and clean environment.
- Client Support : Enforce house rules, help de-escalate emotional or behavioral crises, and conduct safety protocols (e.g., drug screenings, client searches).
- Drive Clients : Safely transport clients in a company vehicle to and from meetings, clinical appointments, and approved outings.
- Documentation : Review and complete thorough shift reports and logs, ensuring all staff documentation is accurate and timely.
- Mentor Staff : Assist with the training and orientation of new BHT team members.
What You'll Need : Requirements
Experience : Minimum 2 year of experience supervising staff in a substance abuse or behavioral health setting (e.g., residential treatment, sober living).Leadership : Proven ability to coach, guide, and manage a small team effectively.Driving : Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record are mandatory.Crisis Skills : Knowledge of de-escalation techniques and the ability to respond calmly and effectively to crises.Education : High School Diploma or GED required.Requirements :
