Sr. Software Test Analyst

We are seeking a Software Test Analyst to join a high-impact modernization initiative focused on streamlining accounts receivable and collections processes. This role involves designing and executing both manual and automated test cases, ensuring quality across web applications, APIs, and accessibility compliance. You will collaborate in an Agile environment and contribute to building robust testing strategies for a mission-critical system.

• Key Responsibilities
• Design and execute manual and automated test cases for web applications and APIs.
• Develop and document test plans, strategies, and reports.
• Perform ADA compliance testing using tools like AccVerify and JAWS.
• Conduct API testing with tools such as Postman or REST Client.
• Analyze requirements and user stories to create reusable test cases (positive, negative, boundary).
• Identify, document, and track defects using Azure DevOps.
• Perform performance / load testing with JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile ceremonies.
• Required Skills & Experience
• 5+ years as a Senior Software Test Analyst.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies (QA, UAT, Integration, Accessibility, Performance, Regression).
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks (Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar).
• Proficiency in Java for test automation and writing Gherkin scenarios.
• Ability to write and execute SQL queries for data validation.
• Familiarity with Git for version control.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Nice to Have
• Experience with Azure DevOps Testing Module.
• Mobile app testing (iOS / Android).
• Familiarity with Playwright for Java, Eclipse, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG.
• Performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).
• API testing tools (Postman, RESTAssured).

This is a Contract position based out of Lansing, MI.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00 / hr.
