Persimmony is a fast-growing SaaS company providing case management software to city, county, and state public health agencies. Our mission is to empower public health professionals with innovative, user-friendly tools that streamline case management, improve data accuracy, and drive better community outcomes.

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing sales team in the Plano,TX office. The BDR will play a critical role in driving pipeline growth by identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective government clients. This is an exciting opportunity to make an impact in the public health sector while working with a collaborative and mission-driven team.

Key Responsibilities

Research and identify potential city, county, and state government agencies that would benefit from Persimmonys case management software.

Conduct outbound prospecting via cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn to generate new leads.

Qualify leads by understanding their challenges, needs, and interest in case management solutions.

Set up meetings and product demonstrations for the sales team with decision-makers and key stakeholders.

Maintain accurate records of outreach, conversations, and progress in HubSpot CRM.

Collaborate with marketing to refine messaging, campaigns, and outreach strategies.

Stay up to date on public health initiatives, government procurement trends, and industry regulations.

What We're Looking For

Must have 1-3 years of experience in a BDR / SDR role in SaaS.

This position requires 2 days in the Plano, TX Office and does not offer relocation assistance

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage public sector stakeholders.

Experience with outbound prospecting and lead qualification techniques.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.

Tech-savvy with experience using CRM tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar.

Passion for public health and government solutions is a plus.
