Title : Associate Lab Technician
Location : Brooklyn Park, MN
Duration : 6 months o Contract
OBJECTIVES :
- This position is responsible for Quality Control laboratory support operations.
- It includes basic testing activities and preparing laboratory solutions.
- Additional responsibilities include formatting laboratory documents / records and coordinating workflows.
ACCOUNTABILITIES :
- Work within laboratory environment for extended periods of time.
- Maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with company SOP's, specifications, and cGMP regulations.
- Perform laboratory support operations (i.e., cleaning, ordering of supplies, reagent preparation, stocking, waste disposal).
- Perform basic testing activities (i.e., conductivity, pH, appearance).
- Prepare laboratory solutions.
- Format documents / records and coordinate workflows from the Quality Control laboratory.
- Perform additional tasks and duties as assigned.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS :
- Requires 0-3 years of related experience.
- Requires strong attention to detail to ensure accurate information is provided throughout the organization.
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to read, write, and converse in English.
- Must be computer literate.
- Experience with MS Office is preferred.
- Must have the following personal attributes : integrity and trust, work ethic, sound judgment, intellectual honesty, pragmatism, courage, and conviction.
LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS : None required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS :
- Wrist and hand motion (e.g., typing, writing).
- Requires lifting and carrying items weighing up to 30 pounds unassisted.
- Requires frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive hand movements, standing, walking, squatting, and sitting, with some lifting to head and chest level, kneeling, and stooping regularly throughout a regular work shift.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS : No travel expected.
