Salary : Starting at $80k and up depending on experience, education, etc.
We are seeking an electrical engineer with a controls and / or automation background to join our team!
This is a great opportunity to join a fast-growing Systems Integration Company. The company performs engineering, software development, controls fabrication, and installation of conveyor and robotic systems on a national basis.
We are seeking a highly motivated professional with the ability to travel domestically.
This is a salaried full-time direct hire position with a stable privately-owned company that offers, paid holiday, PTO, health benefits and 401K.
Office hours are 7 : 00a-4 : 00p M-F and there is up to 40-50% travel at times.
Summary
- Open to entry to mid-level candidates as we have multiple openings to support our growth
- Designs, tests, installs and maintains conveyor for use in material handling applications.
- Produces detailed design drawings, electronic models, specifications, written reports, site surveys, schedules and other related materials
- Uses electrical engineering tools, such as computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment, to carry out responsibilities
Job Requirements
- Knowledge of Rockwell PLC and distributed I / O networking highly preferred but not required; willing to train the right person with relevant experience
- Knowledge COTS HMI user interface programming software " Knowledge of .NET (C#, Visual Basic, C++), Java (Core and Android) desired but not required.
- Prior exposure or familiarity with manufacturing and production environments highly preferred; relevant co-op or internships will be considered
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Good organizational, planning and time management skills
- Must be open-minded and have initiative to learn and take on new tasks; career growth opportunities for the right-minded individual
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word
- Associate degree or equivalent technical / vocational training preferred
