SUMMARY : The Construction Manager (CM) develops crews, monitors progress and ensures projects stay on schedule and within allotted time and cost budgets. The CM is responsible for ensuring projects are properly planned, including ordering and receiving materials, coordinating equipment availability, and ensuring crews understand the plan to execute successfully and safely within the given timelines.

The Electrical CM review designs, procure materials, and oversee the installation and commissioning of electrical systems to ensure compliance with specifications and safety regulations.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

• Construction Management :

Plan, coordinate, and manage project construction from start to finish, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards.

Supervise and lead crews and subcontractors, ensuring efficient utilization of resources and adherence to project goals and ratios.

Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of workmanship and compliance with project requirements.

Review electrical engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents to ensure accuracy and feasibility.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :

PHYSICAL DEMANDS :

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, walk, lift, squat, push, pull, climb stairs and ladders, hear, see, reach, grasp, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, telephone, power tools, motorized vehicles and equipment. The employee must have the ability to occasionally lift more than 50 lbs.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT :

While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee will work both inside in a normal indoor office environment and outside at remote job sites. The employee may be exposed to extreme weather conditions, including heat and cold and wet or humid. The employee may work in high places, and / or work around moving mechanical parts, vehicles and other equipment. The employee may also work in areas where the noise volume is loud and constant. The employee must have the ability to travel to remote job sites up to 80% as needed, which may include overnight stays.
