RedHat OpenShift Engineer (Cloud Engineer)

RAMTEC LLC & SSA LLC has a need for a RedHat OpenShift Engineer to support NGA in Springfield, VA. This is a direct-hire role with our client, a fast-growing Federal Integrator. Outstanding compensation, benefits and company culture. An active Top-Secret Clearance is required .

The Cloud Systems Engineer is responsible for working with highly functional development team automating service deployments; optimizing system performance; integrating with enterprise authentication services; establishing / improving system monitoring; maintaining established security protocols; providing customers technical support. The Cloud Engineer will be integrated with an agile environment participating with scrums and other meetings.

An active Top-Secret Clearance is required .

Specific Duties and Responsibilities :

• Build and Maintain Platform as a Service Offering using RedHat OpenShift
• Work with A&A Team to maintain security requirements for operation of systems
• Maintain and improve existing infrastructure (build out autoscaling, support new services, optimize for cost efficiencies / authentication / search, etc)
• Produce detailed documentation
• Maintain System in AWS environment using EC2, S3, ELB, and RDS
• Maintain System in a VMware vSphere environment, using NSX, and NetApp StorageGRID
• Automate and optimize service deployments
