Specializing in IT Consulting and Staffing Solutions, CGS provides our clients with industry-leading IT Specialists nationwide for all types of placements, i.e. Temp, Contract, and Full-time.

Client is Kannect - a community engagement platform based out of  Houston.

About Kannect :

Kannect is a mission-driven SaaS platform that helps organizations engage, grow, and manage their communities in one place. From universities to coworking spaces, chambers of commerce to sports teams, our platform makes member management seamless and impactful. We’re scaling fast and need hungry, high-performing sales talent to join our team.

The Role :

We’re looking for a commission-only Business Development Manager who thrives on closing deals, building relationships, and driving growth. You’ll be the first point of contact for potential clients, responsible for bringing new organizations onto the Kannect platform. This is a high-reward opportunity for self-starters who want uncapped earning potential.

What You’ll Do :

Prospect and generate leads in target industries (higher ed, chambers, coworking, nonprofits, sports teams, and more)

Conduct demos and present Kannect’s value proposition in a compelling, consultative way

Build and maintain a pipeline of opportunities and manage all stages of the sales cycle

Close deals and negotiate pricing for both pilot programs and full SaaS subscriptions

Collaborate with the team to refine messaging, strategy, and onboarding for new clients

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For :

Proven B2B SaaS sales experience, preferably with membership or community platforms

Comfortable selling into mid-market and enterprise organizations

Skilled in consultative selling, negotiation, and closing complex deals

Strong network and ability to find and connect with decision-makers

Self-motivated, resilient, and coachable

Passion for community, engagement, and helping organizations succeed

Compensation :

100% commission-based, uncapped earning potential

Generous commission structure per closed deal, with bonus incentives for overachievement
