Financial Reporting Manager
Duties :
- Prepares financial statements and reports for Client's internal reporting needs and external reporting requirements (tax, statutory, financial, etc.).
- Assists with transactions entered into by researching technical accounting guidance and preparing technical accounting memoranda to document Client's position on the appropriateness of accounting treatment in accordance with applicable accounting guidance.
Coordinates, develops and updates written policies and procedures over the financial reporting process.
- Prepares various disclosure checklists for financial reporting in connection with Client's year end audit. Leads various complex Ad Hoc Accounting / Finance relates projects as they arise.
- 3 years public accounting experience required, 4 to 6 years of public accounting experience preferred
- Knowledge of risk-bearing organizations, managed care delegation arrangements and DMHC reporting requirements
- Strong technical U.S. GAAP accounting knowledge
- Experience working with the Lawson application preferred
