Clinical Nurse Practitioner - GI Practice

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join a growing GI practice in Macon, GA, specializing in adult Gastroenterology and endoscopy.

• Provides high-quality clinical care in office / hospital settings, assisting physicians with examinations, procedures, and care plans.
• Reviews medical records, administers medications, orders and evaluates diagnostic tests, and develops presumptive diagnoses.
• Collaborates with patients and healthcare teams to develop and implement treatment programs, and educates patients and families on medications and health management.
• Performs history and physical exams, advises on health and prevention, and ensures departmental compliance with regulations.
• Requires a Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program, active APRN license in Georgia, and BLS certification.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently or in a team, and adapt to change.
