The Advanced Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing 3D models and 2D drawings using Siemens NX and Teamcenter, adhering to ASME standards and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) practices for aerospace applications. This role involves applying engineering principles to develop complex components such as starters, pneumatic valves, actuators, motors, and solenoids.
The engineer may also participate in supplier and customer meetings, support RMRA assessments, and contribute to Cast-to-Hogout design activities. Familiarity with castings, forgings, and environmental testing requirements-including EMI-is preferred.
