Responsibilities
Mount Sinai Medical Center is seeking a highly motivated IT Security Analyst to join our Cybersecurity team, supporting Identity Access Management (IAM) and Security Engineering functions. In this role, youll play a critical part in protecting patient information, securing healthcare systems, and enabling safe innovation across our clinical and enterprise environments. Youll collaborate with IT, clinical, and compliance teams to manage Epic application security, access controls, and cybersecurity processes that help keep Mount Sinai secure and resilient.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Microsoft or other recognized industry certifications preferred (e.g., Security+, CySA+, Azure Security Engineer).
Minimum of 1 year of experience supporting Epic Security in a healthcare IT environment.
Strong understanding of identity and access management, authentication, and authorization principles.
Excellent problem?solving and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
