Scrap Metal Sorter

Midwest Labor is hiring for First Shift and Night Shift positions sorting scrap metal in the Eau Claire area.

• Filling one day shift position. 5 : 45am – 5 : 45pm (12hr shifts)
• Filling one night shift position. 5 : 45pm – 5 : 45am (12hr shifts)
• Work week is Monday - Thursday (48hrs)
• Every other week, would be Monday – Friday (60hrs)

We are looking for reliable people with a strong work ethic and attention to safety.

Essential Duties

Working mainly outside, independent in a metal shack sorting specific types of recyclable metal as it comes through on a conveyor belt.

Required

Must wear, 6 inch lace up boots (leather with steel or composite toes)

Non baggy jeans or pants with no holes in them

You’ll also be required to do some PPE (personal protection equipment) safety training

If you get an offer, you’ll need to respond with 24hrs or they will move on to the next candidate
