Responsibilities

Provide emergency nursing care to patients of all ages, including triage, assessment, and treatment

Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans

Utilize effective communication skills to educate patients and families on treatment plans and healthcare options

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care and treatment

Demonstrate a commitment to patient-centered care, safety, and quality improvement

Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless transitions of care

Requirements

Current New York State Registered Nurse license

Requires minimum One (1) year of experience as a Registered Nurse, in an Emergency Room setting

Associates degree in Nursing (ASN) or equivalent, BSN preferred

BLS, ACLS, PALS or within 1 year of employment

Ability to work variable 12 hour shifts including nights, days, weekends, and holidays
