Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education among other factors. In addition, this position is eligible for an incentive bonus. As a Plant Services Specialist, you’ll be the go-to resource for keeping our facility running smoothly and efficiently. In this dynamic role, you’ll coordinate and deliver a wide range of essential HR and communication support services.

If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy wearing many hats, this role offers variety, responsibility, and room to grow.Your Day to Day : General human resources and communication activities necessary to administer accurate timekeeping and reporting, payroll, maintenance of personnel files and records, interpretation of policies and procedures, counsel to staff members and assistance to employees as needed Ensure new hire protocol (job offers, drug testing, background checks, etc.) is followed. Conduct new hire orientations and facilitate hire process including interview and onboarding.Oversee Time & Attendance, leave processing, termination, etc.Validate employee eligibility and earnings for annual CIP bonus payoutsMaintain employee data in HRIS systemMaintain confidential personnel filesAct as primary point of contact for HR questions and requestsMay assist with monthly Labor reportingTracks employee evaluations and disciplinary actionsOversee Communication efforts including but not limited to company announcements, compliance bulletin boards, quarterly town hall meetingsMay be required to perform other related duties as assignedWhat You Bring to the Team : High school / technical school diploma with a minimum of 3 years’ experience general human resources / payroll in a manufacturing environmentProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OutlookAbility to learn and understand other software applications such as Workday, online travel reservations and electronic expense reportingStrong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational skillsAbility to manage and prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlinesAbility to maintain confidential informationFundamental mathematical skills and accounting knowledgeSolid knowledge of local / State / Federal / Government rules and regulations regarding privacy laws, health records, etc.Ability to work independently and in a team environmentAbility to interface at all levels of the organization, both internally and externallyWorking knowledge of human resources policies and proceduresMinimal travel required (0 – 10 days per year)May be required to lift, carry, push or pull up to and including 25 poundsWork environment is typical of an office setting#LI-KL1#LI-ONSITE #P #DPlease Keep in Mind If you do not meet 100% of these requirements, we at JM still want to hear from you.
