Forklift Operator

Purpose :

• This position is responsible for operating a Forklift.

The operator is charged with operating the Forklift with safety in mind, delivering cages or billets to the press and handling scrap containers.             General Duties :

Forklift operation and small hoist operation.                                        Ensures Press utilization is at a maximum operational availability.                                               Directly works with maintenance to ensure equipment up time.                                                                 Promotes, maintains, and enforces safe and healthy working conditions for themselves and other KAAP employees in accordance with regulatory requirements and Company standards.              Assist in the preparation of daily production reports and maintain appropriate records.                   Ensure all SOP are followed and not deviated from.          Other duties as assigned by the Forging Supervisor.   Skills :

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.                        Ability to solve practical problems and troubleshoot equipment issues.   Requirements :
