Position Overview

We are seeking a Sourcing Engineer to support sourcing and supplier activities related to thermal and manufacturing components. This role focuses on supplier coordination, cost and data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to support both ongoing operations and new product development.

Key Responsibilities

• Support sourcing activities for thermal and manufacturing-related components, including machined parts, metal components, and heat transfer-related materials.
• Assist with supplier identification, evaluation, and onboarding based on technical capability, quality performance, cost, and capacity.
• Support RFQ processes, quotation comparison, and basic cost analysis under guidance from senior sourcing or engineering staff.
• Coordinate with internal teams such as engineering, quality, manufacturing, and operations to support sourcing decisions and supplier alignment.
• Support supplier communication regarding pricing, lead time, technical clarification, and documentation.
• Assist with cost improvement and cost control initiatives through data analysis, supplier comparison, and alternative sourcing exploration.
• Maintain sourcing-related data accuracy in internal systems and reports.
• Support sourcing activities for new product development and engineering changes related to thermal systems.
• Assist in monitoring supplier performance metrics including delivery, quality, and responsiveness.
• Support basic supply risk identification and escalation as needed.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering, Materials Science, Supply Chain, or a related technical field.

Professional Experience

• Junior experience such as 3 – 5 years in sourcing, procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, or engineering support roles.
• Exposure to manufacturing or thermal-related products is a plus.

Skills & Competencies

• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and thermal or mechanical components.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to coordinate across internal teams and support cross-functional collaboration
• Good communication skills; bilingual capability preferred.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Mobility

• Occasional travel as needed (up to 30%).

Preferred Qualifications

• Internship or project experience related to sourcing, procurement, or manufacturing.
• Exposure to automotive or industrial manufacturing environments.
