Urgent Care Physician - Bismarck, North DakotaPermanent Full-Time Flexible Schedule Outpatient Only Position Overview :
- Setting : Urgent Care
- Schedule : Flexible 6, 10, or 12-hour shifts
- Full-time : 40 patient contact hours / week
- Weekend & Holiday Shifts : 4 hours
- Patient Volume : 20-25 patients / day
- Staffing : 4 MDs and 2 APPs (varies by location) Clinical Responsibilities :
- Diagnose and treat a broad range of acute and chronic conditions, including :
- URIs, UTIs, lacerations, DVTs, hypertension, diabetes
- Cardiac and neurological emergencies (e.g., heart attack, stroke)
- Lesions, environmental exposures
- Patients range from newborns to centenarians
- On-site lab and advanced imaging : CT, MRI, ultrasound (9th Street Clinic)
- Access to a broad network of local medical / surgical specialists Requirements :
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine - Required
