We are seeking a highly skilled, reliable, and efficient Permanent Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry.
You will play a pivotal role in our operations, ensuring that our machinery, equipment, and systems are functioning at optimal capacity.
As a Permanent Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine and unplanned maintenance tasks, troubleshooting complex issues, and enhancing the longevity and safety of our equipment.
This position requires a deep understanding of electrical systems and PLC programming, with a focus on maintaining and improving industrial machinery and processes.
Responsibilities :
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on various equipment and machinery, ensuring optimal operational efficiency.
- Troubleshoot complex issues related to machinery and equipment, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- Utilize PLC programming skills to optimize machine functionality and performance.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to understand and resolve equipment design issues and operational inefficiencies.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, promoting a culture of safety and responsibility within the team.
- Document all maintenance and repair work, creating detailed reports on equipment status, malfunctions, and fixes.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and techniques.
- Provide technical guidance to junior technicians and other team members as needed.
Qualifications :
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in the manufacturing industry or a similar role.
- Advanced knowledge and experience in electrical systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Proficiency in PLC programming, with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize machine performance.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams and stakeholders.
- A strong commitment to safety, demonstrating the ability to follow and enforce safe work practices and procedures.
- Ability to work in physically demanding conditions, including lifting heavy objects, working in confined spaces, and standing for long periods.
- A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel as needed.
- A degree or certification in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field is preferred.
