Responsibilities Position located in a busy hospital operating room with 41 ORs at a Level 1 Trauma Center Requires coverage of general, GU / GYN, neuro, ENT, and plastic surgery cases 1 : 1 patient ratio for surgical care Day shifts (3x12 hours) from 10 : 45 to 23 : 15 with some shifts starting at 06 : 45 or 08 : 45 as needed Work days include all days of the week with weekend shifts per unit needs Floating required to other operating rooms within the same health system No on-call requirements Epic EMR is used and prior experience is required Responsible for providing intraoperative care across a range of specialties including general, GU / GYN, neuro, ENT, and plastics No blocked scheduling requests permitted Modules are required and completed before the start of assignment No more than 10 requested days off approved per contract, with restricted dates for time off Dress code and scrub color details will be provided upon assignment Requirements Active CO or compact RN license required Current AHA BLS certification required Minimum of 3 years of recent operating room RN experience required Prior experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center required Epic EMR experience required First-time travelers will not be considered Candidates employed by the health system in the past two years are not eligible Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-627873.
