Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Laboratory Technician Position type : Full Time, Contract (Possibility of extension)Title : Laboratory Technician - I (Assistant) Duration : 08+ months of contract Location : Lawrence Kansas 66046 United States Shift Schedule : 08 : 00 am to 04 : 30 pm Monday - Friday As a Laboratory Technician, your responsibilities : Job Description : Performs basic preparatory procedures on feed samples containing pharmaceutical ingredients according to FDA cGMP requirements.

Performs sample preparation on fecal samples for parasite egg counts, chicken GI tracts for worm counts and serum samples.

Prepares laboratory reagents and solutions according to analytical methodology or standard operating procedures (SOP). Indicate the approximate percentage of time spent on each activity.

75% Grinds feed mill samples and prepares fecal and gut samples as part of routine testing programs.15% Glassware cleaning and other general housekeeping duties.

5% Maintains complete and accurate documentation for all work performed.5% Performs other tasks as requested by management.

Qualifications : High School Diploma or equivalent.Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferredPrior laboratory experience preferred.

Ability to work independently with limited supervision.Good documentation and communication skillsAbility to work within a team environment.
