Accounting Position
Major Duties And Responsibilities :
- Ensure timely and accurate coding and processing of invoices for payment.
- Produce weekly check runs to include supporting documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions, including invoices, payments, and vendor communications.
- Communicate with vendors regarding payment status and resolve any discrepancies or issues that arise.
- Assist in preparing financial reports related to accounts payable and accrued expenses.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain A / P Filing on site.
- Reconcile monthly company credit cards and related receipts.
- Reconcile GL accounts and petty cash accounts.
- Assist with month-end close process.
- Prepare annual 1099 forms.
- Other duties as needed by CFO.
Qualifications
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
Excellent communication skills.Must be able to work in a fast-paced multi-tasking, hands-on environment.Ability to establish and maintain a positive and professional working relationship with all individuals.Strong organizational skills.Strong data entry and 10-Key skills.Excellent computer skills; MUST be strong in Microsoft Excel & Word.Solid understanding of accounting principles.Experience with Sage Intacct accounting software preferred.Education :
Two-year college degree required in accounting or business program preferred.Experience :
