Salary $70,000 - $75,000 per year

Due to growth, we are looking to add an Electrical Engineering Technician to our team.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and evaluate electrical systems, components, and applications by applying knowledge of electricity and materials.
  • Collaborate with electrical engineers to design and apply new system processes, and provide technical advice as needed.
  • Set up and operate standard or specialized testing equipment to diagnose, test, or analyze the performance of electronic components, assemblies, or systems.
  • Assemble, install, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures.
  • Conduct inspections to ensure that installations and designs meet standards and specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in circuitry and electronic assemblies, using hand tools and measuring and testing instruments.
  • Prepare and study technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems, and topographical maps to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements.
  • Write reports and compile data regarding existing and potential electrical engineering projects and studies.
  • Keep abreast of changes and updates in the field of electrical engineering and participate in educational opportunities, read professional publications, maintain personal networks, and participate in professional organizations.

    • Qualifications

  • Experience as an Electrical Engineering Technician or in a similar role.
  • Ability to analyze circuits from schematics.
  • Experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, multi-meters, hi-pot testers, temperature scanners, etc.
  • ASCE, ASEE, or equivalent degree.
