The job :
- Design and manage hydraulic infrastructure for transportation projects across North Carolina, including stormwater systems, roadway drainage, and erosion control.
- Perform hydrology and hydraulic analyses using MicroStation, GEOPAK Drainage, HEC-RAS, and other tools to support the design and construction of culverts, bridges, and stormwater ponds.
- Lead technical efforts in stormwater management, outfall analysis, and water quality BMPs across diverse transportation-related projects.
- Conduct fieldwork to verify site conditions and support accurate, responsive design solutions.
What they need :
Bachelor's in Civil Engineering.Licensed EIT.2+ years of experience focused on H&H engineering.Compensation : $85,000 - $110,000 approximate range.Ownership : Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) begins after one year, with full vesting at five years—targeting 10%+ annual growth.Time Off : PTO based on experience level—3 weeks for junior staff, 4 for mid-level, and 5 for senior roles.Work Environment : Hybrid flexibility available on a case-by-case basis for autonomous team members; EITs typically work in-office.The company :
