Product Merchandiser
The Product Merchandiser plays a key role in driving the product strategy, execution, and lifecycle management across categories and customers. This position manages the flow of information between design, sourcing, sales, and operations to ensure products are developed, positioned, and delivered in line with brand goals and market needs.
This role requires strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to balance creative vision and commercial objectives. The Product Merchandiser serves as a bridge between teams, leading development timelines, monitoring supplier performance, analyzing business results, and supporting the creation of compelling seasonal assortments that align with overall merchandising strategies.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage product development timelines and ensure all product details, specifications, and pricing are accurate and up to date in systems such as Teams, Monday.com, Apprise, and BeProduct (or other PLM / ERP tools).
- Lead sample management across development, sales, and marketing needstracking progress, feedback, and ensuring timely delivery.
- Serve as the primary liaison with suppliers and factories to communicate development updates, resolve issues, and maintain on-time production.
- Oversee production tracking and delivery schedules, identifying risks and driving proactive solutions to meet deadlines.
- Conduct market and competitive research to identify trends, consumer insights, and pricing opportunities that inform line development.
- Partner with Design to align product direction, color palettes, and feature updates with brand positioning and customer feedback.
- Develop and present seasonal line plans, line sheets, and product assortments for internal and customer-facing reviews.
- Analyze sales and margin performance to identify growth opportunities and inform future line strategies.
- Drive cross-functional alignment with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to ensure cohesive product launches and seasonal readiness.
- Maintain a continuous feedback loop from 1st prototype through production to ensure adherence to quality, fit, and brand standards.
- Support the creation of packaging, product visuals, and marketing collateral to strengthen go-to-market storytelling.
- Participate in trade shows, sales meetings, and customer presentations to support assortment strategy and product positioning.
Required Education and Experience :
Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Design, Fashion, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).5 + years of experience in merchandising, product development, or related consumer goods categories.Proven track record of managing multiple product categories or development timelines.Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and global suppliers.Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage complex product data and tight deadlines.Analytical mindset with experience using sales and margin data to drive product decisions.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams); experience with ERP / PLM systems (Apprise, BeProduct, Monday.com, or similar).Passion for product, design, and understanding of retail and consumer trends.Pay Range :
74,400.00 - 111,600.00
