Job Title : Supply Chain Specialist (Temporary – Hybrid)

Location : West Hollywood, CA 90048

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day, 5 × 8-hour (08 : 00 AM – 05 : 00 PM)

Position Summary

The Supply Chain Specialist acts as a key member of the Purchasing / Contracts team, supporting the efficient procurement of commodities, equipment, services, and contracts for assigned commodity groups. Working under the direction of the Contract Administrator / Purchasing Supervisor, this hybrid role involves editing and processing purchase requisitions, placing orders with vendors, following up on deliveries and pricing, assisting with contract renewals and solicitations, and liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure timely, cost-effective purchasing activities. This role requires strong attention to detail, vendor negotiation skills, familiar­ity with procurement processes, and the ability to support cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.

Minimum two (2) years of experience in a purchasing department or related area.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience using PeopleSoft (or similar ERP / procurement system) in a healthcare or research / lab environment.

Prior exposure to contract renewals, vendor negotiations, or category management in a procurement setting.
