Job Summary
The Senior Accountant plays a key role in maintaining the financial integrity of the organization through advanced accounting functions, financial reporting, and process improvement. This position is ideal for a seasoned accounting professional who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to strategic financial initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Cash Management & Banking : Oversee daily cash activity, manage bank reconciliations, and ensure accurate recording of PayPal, wire transfers, and other payment platforms in SAP.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable Oversight : Review and approve vendor invoices, ensure timely payments, and support AR collections and reconciliation processes.
- System Monitoring & Issue Resolution : Lead the resolution of order and inventory discrepancies via the Alluvia dashboard; collaborate cross-functionally to ensure data accuracy.
- Month-End & Year-End Close : Prepare and review journal entries, perform complex account reconciliations, and support financial statement preparation.
- Compliance & Regulatory Reporting : Manage sales tax filings, 1099s, business licenses, and other regulatory requirements to ensure full compliance.
- Process Improvement & Leadership : Identify and implement process improvements, mentor junior accounting staff, and contribute to cross-functional financial initiatives.

Qualifications
1-2 years of audit experience required.CPA required.Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field highly preferred.Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing, e-commerce, or public accounting environment.Strong knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Excel.Experience with e-commerce platforms, payment processors, and SALT is a plus.Solid understanding of GAAP and general ledger accounting.Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Technical aptitude and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.Compensation
The expected compensation for this position is an annual salary of $75,000-$82,000 plus bonus potential, depending on experience and qualifications.
