Job Description

Provides spiritual support and counseling to all patients, families, and associates of Shannon Medical Center in accordance with their individual religious preferences through routine and / or referral visits. Follows established policies and procedures, provides pastoral care to patients throughout the life span including newborns, children, adolescents, adults and geriatric age groups.

Job Requirements

• Knowledge of many faith groups and Christian denominations and their diversity of worship and ministry.
• Endorsement of denomination and certified ordination of denomination.
• Ordained as a minister from an accredited theological institution is preferred.
• 2 years of pastoral experience, required
• 1 year of hospital experience, preferred
