Denton, TX- OSP Data Center Technician

The work environment includes

• cookie-cutter, Class A builds, admin buildings, and co-location facilities
• Scope of Work :
• Primary tasks :
• Pulling cable (mostly fiber), rack and stack, and patch work.
• Hands-on labor :
• Technicians will not start with terminating / testing but will progress to these tasks as they prove themselves.
• Training :
• E2 provides one week of training before technicians go on site, covering everything needed for success.
• Note :
• Candidates with backgrounds in
• Residential (including FTTH), AV, or DAS
• will
• NOT
• be considered.
• Schedule :
• Monday through Saturday
• 6 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM
• Approximately
• 60-hour work weeks
• Required Skills :
• OSP
• Cable / Cabling
• Data Center experience
• Additional Skills & Qualifications :
• Must bring :
• Basic hand tools (snips, screwdrivers, punch down tool, RJ45 crimper, channel locks).
• Nice to have :
• Drill, portable bandsaw.
• Experience Level :
• Intermediate

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00 / hr.
